The 2021 model year features an exceptional range of vehicles, from affordable but powerful entry level pickups to genuine heavy duty trucks which can handle any job you throw at them. Read our 2021 Ram trucks review to find out the highlights of the year.

2021 Ram 1500 Classic

The 1500 Classic range is an affordable route into owning a high-capability Ram. The models are based on the best-selling Ram 1500 range, but with a slightly stripped down set of features that deliver all the power without the extra price.

At the entry level of the range, the Classic Tradesman offers a no-nonsense cabin that gets the job done, but boasts plenty of power with a 3.6L V6 pushing out 305 horsepower. However, move up to the higher trim levels and the engine is upgraded to a mighty 5.7L HEMI V8 with 395 horsepower, and interior technology includes infotainment touchscreen displays and smartphone integration.

2021 Ram 1500

The Ram 1500 is at the heart of the 2021 Ram trucks fleet, and remains a consistent best seller among savvy Canadian pickup drivers. The available powertrains are largely the same as the Classic, but with a 48V mild hybrid system added to boost performance and reduce fuel consumption. However, there's also the option of a turbodiesel engine with a huge torque rating of 460lb-ft, more than enough for completing the toughest tasks over challenging terrains.

And at the very highest end of the range, the incredible Ram 1500 TRX has a 6.2L supercharged V8 making a mammoth 702 horsepower to push this high-end Ram into entirely new pickup performance territory.

But the Ram 1500 is about more than power. The range includes some of the most impressive technology found on any mainstream pickup, from 12" infotainment touchscreens to advanced driver assist and active safety systems.

2021 Ram 2500

The Ram 2500 is the first in the company's line of heavy duty trucks, and it takes capability to a new level. The standard engine is a powerful 6.4L V8 cranking out 410 horsepower and 429llb-ft of torque, but if even that's not enough, a 6.7L turbo diesel mill makes 370 hp and 850lb-ft. The result is a hugely impressive towing capacity of up to 8,926kg, backed up by a payload capacity of up to 1,986kg.

Lastly, the Ram 3500 is the biggest and heaviest truck in the fleet, and is built to complete the most demanding of tasks without breaking sweat. The top-rated engine is a 6.7L turbo diesel making 400 horsepower and 1,000lb-ft, resulting in a towing capacity of up to 16,828kg and a payload rating of 3,484kg.
