Until then, let's get started.

The main difference between the Jeep Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee is size. While the Jeep Cherokee is a small crossover, the Grand Cherokee is a full-size SUV with a total cargo capacity of 1,634 L when the rear seats are down. The Grand Cherokee also offers you more power with three engine options including the standard 2.4 L Tigershark MultiAir I-4 engine with 180 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque, the 2.0 L turbocharged I-4 with 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, and the 3.2 L Pentastar VVT V6 that can tow up to 2,041 kg. Admittedly, the Cherokee gets better fuel economy, but that's fairly obvious when you consider the size difference. It's also cheaper, again because of its smaller size and less power.

Neither model is actually better than the other, it all comes down to what you're looking for in an SUV and what your personal preference is. Both vehicles come with the legendary Jeep capability you know and love so, at the end of the day, whichever you choose will be more than enough for your lifestyle.

Let's dive deeper into the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee now, shall we? It has a best-in-class towing of 3,265 kg when properly equipped and claims the title of Most Luxurious Vehicle in its Class thanks to the Trackhawk model which features racing-inspired bolsters, leather-faced seats, and perforated suede inserts or available Laguna leather seats. There's also plenty of head and leg room in the front and the back, making any seat desirable for your passengers. You're guaranteed a quiet and peaceful ride thanks to active noise cancellation and can even enjoy the standard 9-speaker Alpine audio system without disruptions from road noise.

Getting back to that legendary Jeep capability, the Jeep Grand Cherokee offers four systems that include Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, Quadra-Drive II, and Quadra-Trac SRT. There's also the Selec-Terrain Traction Management System offering selectable drive modes such as Snow, Sand, Auto, and Mud. You'll get incredible traction and capability in any road or weather condition with the Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Most Capable SUV in its Class. Choosing the Trailhawk gets you the Trail Rated badge for more capability as well as Rock mode.
